The new models
The new Update offers 33 new models – more than any other Update before. The new models cover the whole spectrum of this fascinating hobby. 20 new powered airplanes, 8 new gliders, 3 new model helicopters and 2 new jets emphasizing the versatility of this flight simulator.
The new models include such well known models as the Bird of Time and Multiplex Funjet but also exceptionally detailed scale models. This includes a Springfield Hall Bulldog as well as a Beechcraft Baron 58 in two designs and a DC3 with over 10 ft wingspan and 43 lbs flying weight the polished metal skin reflects back-lighting.
In general tremendous effort has been put into scale details on many models. You can marvel at exceptional special functions in almost every model. You can operate canopies, enter stairways or doors on the DC3 the engine cooling louvers open and close automatically. It goes even further, the pilot's head of the new Fw190 with 10 ft wing span moves according to the control inputs of the elevator and rudder. Even the mechanical retract indicator has been modeled exactly after the original.

| Interactive Head Tracker System As if the multitude of new models and sceneries weren't enough, the makers of the aerofly5.7 incorporated the link to a head tracker system. This is the control of the line of sight by means of head movement. It is compatible with systems from TrackIR. It requires an infrared sensor mounted at the top of a monitor and a reflector on the front of any available hat or ball cap. The IR sensor is connected to the computer via a USB cable, it senses your head movement (right/left/ up/down) and thus controls the line of sight. This is a true enhancement for the model pilot’s perspective as well as for flying in cockpit mode. A brief look to the side i.e. towards the ground enhances simulator flying even in a more realistic way than ever before. |

Individual Graphic Setup
In Version 5.7 you may adjust the display quality via 9 different parameters and thus influence the performance requirements for the graphic card. Directly in the program there are simple adjustment buttons and controllers available like for the display quality of the water surfaces, trees or even for Anti-Alising and HDR-Rendering settings. This ensures that the new Update aerofly5.7 will run on all PCs, which were able to run the predecessor aerofly Professional Deluxe fluently.
